The Baby Summit USA in Atlanta GA

Kendra (Kendra Neie Photography aka Newborn Bliss) & I headed to Atlanta at the end of September for the first & possibly only Baby Summit USA! We had the opportunity to meet fellow newborn photographers from all over the world (Australia, Sweden, Belgium & Brazil are only a few). What an amazing group we are! So many like minded, baby snugglers all in one HUGE room! Not to mention in that same room.... Kelly Brown, Sue Bryce, Ana Brandt, Kristen Cook (some of my favorites) and so many other super talented photographers coming together to teach us!

We arrived a day early so we had some free time in the morning & we headed to Ponce City Market... (excuse the quality, we left our cameras at home & used our phones)

I LOVED this building! so industrial & old & vintage & unique!

We stayed at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis. What a beautiful hotel!

The view from our room one morning.

Kendra & I took different class & we learned so much. I know my brain is overloaded with so much information & I am so excited to start implementing my new skills in my business.

A HUGE thank you to Kelly Brown for hosting this wonderful event! Not only is this woman a phenomenal newborn photographer, but she genuinely has a passion for helping others & to see others be successful. It was such an honor to be able to meet her &  learn from her.

And Sue Bryce..... the final keynote speaker Monday... my goodness... my favorite quote...

"We are artists, image makers, master creators, we create legacy portraits. What we create will outlive us." ~Sue Bryce

The value of what we create is priceless. What an amazing industry I am privileged to be a part of!

on a side note I have added to my bucket list: to be photographed by Sue one day! Just sayin'

This is your legacy... capture these moments... we can't stop the hands of time, but we can freeze time in a portrait. You will never regret investing in your legacy. ~Laura
